Kimberly-Clark North America (KCNA) is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial-minded, analytical leader to join its Digital Commerce + Omnichannel Marketing organization.  The role is a great fit for an ambitious, innovative candidate who is eager to drive a high-growth and transformative business within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Director, Digital Commerce + Omnichannel Marketing Strategy is a leader in both strategy development and strategy execution for KCNA's Digital Commerce + Omni business.  This individual and his/her team will act as the singular, strategic voice of the KCNA Digital Commerce + Omni marketing in service of mid + long-term initiatives, digital experience, digital + shopper/performance marketing (e.g., retail media, agency, integrated planning, etc.) transformation, and capability building.  The Director will lead a high-performing team of Strategy managers in addition to partnering with KCNA Field Sales + HQ teams in strategy development projects across a range of situations, including full digital commerce strategies, marketing + media strategies/processes, as well as omnichannel specific strategies, playbooks, forecasting/analytics, and operating plans to ensure KCNA delivers on its growth agenda and deliver industry best-in-class thought leadership.

We are seeking a strategic digital and marketing leader with a broad skill set which demonstrates visionary + innovative thought leadership, analytical horsepower, excellent business judgement, relationship building + management, and a passion to be a change-agent motivated by making a positive impact every day.

In this role, you will: 

  • Lead innovative end-to-end Digital Commerce strategy development as a partner to business leaders and make adjustments to existing strategies based upon new learning and changes in the competitive environment/broader digital industry.
  • Participate in and ensure Digital Commerce integration in the Strategic Business Planning process while also driving integration of Omni Marketing into the yearly integrated marketing planning process (Content + Connections Planning)
  • Lead process development and execution/integration of Digital Commerce + Omnichannel Marketing operating rhythms, analytics + measurement (digital shelf, financial metrics, retail media, traditional shopper) into existing/new HQ and field sales workstreams.
  • Own thought leadership for business problem definition, project scoping, analytical approach, and work-planning.
  • Direct + directly execute data analysis for delivery of strategic projects including financial modeling and insight analysis.
  • Interpret results from multiple project components and translate these findings into clear and compelling recommendations and solutions.
  • Conduct interviews, lead brainstorming sessions, find critical business information, and help business leaders develop innovative approaches to their business.
  • Add personal insight, galvanize discussion and debate across the organization on key strategic issues, generating ideas and creative frameworks, and use a combination of facts, judgement, and personal impact to build credibility and influence outcomes.
  • Take ownership for program design, implementation, and change management on select projects critical to our Digital Commerce + Omnichannel Marketing business strategy.
  • Navigate + influence a cross-functional, matrix organization to secure continued support from the right stakeholders at all levels (e.g. Executive leadership to Manager level) to drive business results and build talent.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years experience in Strategy/Consulting, Digital Commerce, Omnichannel (Shopper), and/or Performance Marketing
  • Knowledge of/experience working with key retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger, Amazon)
  • Strong analytical skills leveraging data and insights to identify opportunities, develop strategies, drive decision-making, and execute plans to address.
  • Ability to think and act strategically and to drive commercial planning and execution.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for leading, innovating and educating in the area of Digital Commerce and Omnichannel Marketing 
  • Direct experience working in a highly matrixed, global company and capability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience successfully coaching and developing others, particularly in a remote/virtual environment
  • High threshold for working and thriving in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, e.g. ability to pivot quickly, figuring it out and adapting as you go
  • Demonstrated ability to lead + manage multiple projects – prioritization, planning, and task delegation across internal + external partners
  • Experience driving change management
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Travel: 10%

Preferred:

  • CPG experience
  • Master's degree
  • Consulting experience

Salary Range: 181,220 – 234,260 USD
