Manager, Global Branding & Design

The Manager of Global Branding & Design produces and oversees digital, print, and environmental creative solutions to address our global marketing needs. To be successful in this role, you should have expert-level knowledge of the elements of graphic design, styles, and layout techniques. You should have experience executing a wide variety of project types from conception to production in both digital and print. You will ensure we promote our brand consistently through delivering high quality campaigns to tight deadlines.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create and oversee creation of layout and design for all collateral and branded items globally from conception to delivery. This includes but is not limited to sales sheets, brochures, product/service overviews, white papers, case studies, SOWs, advisory board directories, discovery documents, emails, brand guidelines, sell sheets, service summaries, signage, ads, packaging, battlecards, M&A guides, social media graphics, email signature banners, customer onboarding guides, and technical documents. Make updates to graphics and content for all collateral as needed. Cobrand with partner logos or personalize with contact information as requested. Proof all materials for design accuracy, consistency, and content.
  • Manage and provide guidance, design feedback, and professional development opportunities to entry-level and mid-level design team members.
  • Review all design and merchandise requests and delegate as needed. Guide requestors through creative brief for larger scale project requests.
  • Ensure all projects and requests are addressed within the specified scope, time, and budget.
  • Lead, provide guidance on, create, and implement changes or refreshes to brand elements if/when necessary (logos, colors, graphic elements, style guidelines, layout templates, etc.)
  • Organize and maintain archives of all ad campaigns, presentations, collateral, photography, design files, assets, etc.
  • Set and enforce brand guidelines across all mediums, with all employees, and with all vendors. Review all internal and external-facing collateral for consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Design trade show booths and signage for all global events. Create and/or order branded merchandise and collateral as needed for all global events.
  • Research and interview external vendors/services as needed. Manage external relationships including photographers, printers, merchandise vendors, freelancers, design/advertising agencies, digital asset management system, digital marketing display system, etc.
  • Manage branded merchandise use for employee uniforms, department gifts, company events, customer gifts, promotional items, award plaques, etc. Work with external vendor(s) to provide pricing and on-brand options for all merchandise requests. Create and provide design files for manufacturers. Ensure consistency in look/feel across all PPT merchandise. Review and approve proofs for all orders. Compile contact, order, and shipping info for all orders. Work with international compliance team to ensure delivery. Oversee inventory and reorder items as needed.
  • Maintain relationships across all departments and regions to get feedback on projects and processes, effectively and efficiently complete design requests, ensure branding consistency across the globe, and coordinate international shipments of branded merchandise.
  • Update all graphics/documents periodically with new messaging/tagline, refreshed graphics, new certifications/designations, updated statistics, etc. Conduct recurring reviews of all collateral throughout the year for accuracy and messaging. Stay up to date with all external logos and branding (partners, OEMs) and make updates to all applicable collateral as needed.
  • Conduct semi-annual creative audit by compiling all design work to review for consistency and edits needed.
  • Manage and organize the digital library of all collateral, presentations, and references. Remove outdated content and upload new content as created. Source on-brand images and retouch as needed.
  • Maintain digital asset management system.
  • Design environmental signage globally (wall graphics, signage, displays, building signage, parking lot signs, wayfinding signage, event signage, posters, popup banners). Manage the ordering of HQ marketing signage; share files and assist in ordering for all other locations.
  • Design/update company stationary as needed (note cards, letterhead, business cards). Personalize and order business cards for North America region.
  • Create and/or oversee creation of presentation layouts and graphic elements; apply to all company presentations and add animation (template layouts, sales presentation decks, leadership presentations, board presentations, event presentations, town hall presentations)
  • Create and/or oversee creation of logos for any company need (new product/service, internal projects, company programs, business resource groups, annual kickoff events, podcasts, partner logo lockups)
  • Create and/or oversee creation of Client Advisory Board and Partner Advisory Board itineraries, invitations, branded gifts, name badges, and directories.
  • Create and/or oversee creation of original infographics and illustrations for use across company documents, presentations, social posts, etc.
  • Design and/or oversee the design of account-based marketing campaign graphics.
  • Create and/or oversee creation of regionalized versions of ads, documents, presentations, and other collateral (revised sizing and spelling)
  • Create branded templates for all types of collateral.
  • Oversee and assist in configuring digital signage in global offices.
  • Create and manage annual President's Club trip deliverables: awards booklet, name badges, itinerary, overview brochures, signage, notecards, awards presentation, venue and activity reference guides, employee and guest lists, online awards flipbook.
  • Manage annual President's Club incentive gift program from item ideation to ordering and shipping.
  • Measure impact of designed resources company-wide, adjust processes as needed based on feedback and suggestions.
  • Create and track feedback surveys for company events. Create presentations of survey results for senior leadership
  • Plan, schedule, and direct photo shoots for executive headshots and owned photography. Make photography selections and guide photographer with needed edits.
  • Oversee the creation of the annual holiday design in both print and digital formats; ensure content is scheduled to be shared with employees and customers. Oversee the design, order, and shipment of annual holiday card and gift design for board members and customers.
  • Manage orders and distribution of printed collateral globally.
  • Utilize translation tools to create and/or oversee creation of translated versions of ads, documents, presentations, and other collateral as needed.
  • Create/edit/export art files for printing or external purposes. Oversee the aesthetic and branding of all Park Place items being produced by external vendors (i.e., HR wellness portal, Park Place merchandise web store).
  • Create guidelines for all design and merchandise-related processes and requests.
  • Review and approve all merchandise and printing invoices.
  • Review and provide feedback on Curvature designs (social media, digital messaging signage, presentations, etc.)
  • Oversee the aesthetic, needs, and user experience of the company intranet site. Set the standard for the look and feel of department subsites and all graphics across all pages. Maintain organization of subpages. Implement suggestions and requests as called for. Implement ideas for improved user experience. Oversee the daily activity and news postings.
  • Review company website periodically to ensure accuracy and consistency in content and graphics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What we're looking for:

  • 5-7 years' experience in Graphic Design
  • Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Experience as a project manager
  • Experience as a people manager
  • Management and updating of the corporate style guide
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
  • Strong aesthetic skills and attention to details
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and collaborate with a global team in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree
