Material Handler

JOB SUMMARY

Load finished parts and/or product, as well as unload raw materials and shipments as assigned.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Load and unload trucks

• Maintain accurate counts and records of products loaded on trucks for shipment to customers

• Maintain 5S activities

• Perform other duties assigned

• Reports to Production Supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift trained

• Shipping trained

• Capable to load/unload truck and stack inventory with both clamp and fork forklifts

• Familiar with shipping paperwork

• Communication (Verbal)

• Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• 40+ hours a week

• Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and reaching

• Lifting , carrying , pushing, pulling (25lb max)

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Safety glasses

• Steel toe shoes

• Hearing protection available
