Telecom Tower Crew Top Hand (TT3) (Telecommunications)
TOWER TECHNICIAN IIICOMPENSATION: $25-$28/Hour

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:• Climbing and working on communication towers to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wireless systems• Assembling/erecting various tower types, including self-support, monopoles, guyed towers, etc.• Read construction documents, clearly explain and delegate tasks to crews inorder to perform installations per all customer requirements• Installing antennas, coax, fiber optic cables, DC power, AC power, etc., at elevated heights of over 100 feet• Working closely with, helping manage, and mentor technicians, and staying aligned with our OJT training program• Review assigned crews and adhere to project schedules• Adhering to all company and industry (i.e., OSHA, NATE) standards/regulations
JOB REQUIREMENTS:• High School diploma or equivalent• 2 years of tower industry experience, with at least 6-12 months as a Tower Tech 3/Lead Technician• Be able to demonstrate skills, knowledge, and your level of expertise in the tower industry• Must have reliable transportation; a valid driver's license may be required for certain assignments involving travel or use of company vehicles• Ability to travel and work outside of normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays• Working knowledge of hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment• Ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50 lb load• OSHA 30, RF Safety, First Aid/CPR certifications preferred
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:• Local, out-of-the-area, and extended travel is required (up to 95%)
