Senior Designer - Transportation Market (Finance)

Responsibilities:
  • Produce roadway and bridge construction drawings using Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD), supporting design development for municipal and State DOT projects.
  • Create and modify plan and profile sheets, cross sections, typical sections, and other design elements using ORD, ensuring adherence to project standards and engineering direction.
  • Interpret survey data, alignments, and engineering inputs to develop accurate and coordinated design models.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design changes, incorporate redlines, and ensure consistency throughout project deliverables.
  • Utilize Bentley MicroStation and ORD for CAD production, including file management and compliance with project-specific CAD standards.
  • Maintain familiarity with DOT plan sets, file structures, and drafting conventions; prior experience with State DOT standards is strongly preferred.
  • Support quality control by reviewing plans for accuracy and alignment with applicable CAD standards and project guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma required; Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience transportation CAD production.
  • Experience within the transportation engineering industry.
