Are you a retail leader who wants to do more than just drive sales? Join Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region as a ReStore Manager and lead with purpose. You'll manage daily operations, grow your team, and directly support affordable housing through the success of our ReStore.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage all aspects of ReStore operations
• Drive store performance by monitoring sales, managing inventory, and controlling expenses
• Hire, train, and coach staff to create a high-performing team
• Ensure safety and compliance across all store activities
• Deliver excellent customer, donor, and volunteer experiences
• Collaborate with departments across Habitat (HR, IT, Volunteer Services, Accounting, etc.)
• Represent Habitat with professionalism and enthusiasm in the community

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of management experience in retail or related fields
• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Experience with budgets, reporting, and inventory control
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfort working with POS systems and Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of basic HR functions (hiring, onboarding, performance management)
• Passion for Habitat's mission and values

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor work (warehouse/dock environment, not always climate-controlled)
• Must be able to:
  • Stand for long periods
  • Lift 50 lbs. unassisted (70 lbs. with help)
  • Operate or become certified to operate a forklift
  • Work evenings, weekends, and some holidays as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and insurable under Habitat policy
• Occasional use of personal, reliable vehicle for business purposes
• Commitment to regular, reliable attendance and schedule adherence
• Ability to follow all Habitat policies and professional conduct standards
