Assembler Process - Level 1 (Finance)



REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER THIS ROLE:

MUST HAVES:

  • 1+ years' experience in Manufacturing environments

WE VALUE:
  • • HS Diploma or equivalent •
  • Proficiency with work requiring fine motor skills
  • Ability to pass an annual eye exam, as required
  • Ability to distinguish colors accurately

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

The Assembler Process position shall be a hybrid of the Productions Specialist position and special process work - any employee in this role MUST be capable and willing to do both parts of the job description. The Assembler Process position shall be utilized to fulfill special process staffing needs.

Parts of the Assembler Process role are considered safety-sensitive jobs and may be required to be in the FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Pool and complete regular human factors and other specified training as warranted.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

SPECIAL SKILLS:

In addition to acting as a Production Specialist as needed, anyone in this role must be fully trained (and/or certified) to conduct one or more of the following special processes:

  • o Plating
  • o Brazing o Paint spraying (requires respirator fit test)
  • o Tig welding

GENERAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Manipulate small parts (i.e., fine motor skills)
  • Proficiency and in-house certification in soldering
  • • Proficiency and understanding of how to use measurement tools
  • Ability to frequently use microscopes
  • Ability to pass an annual eye exam, as required • Ability to distinguish colors accurately
  • Ability to pass safety wire training
  • Ability to work with adhesives, chemicals, etc., as called out in work instructions • (If applicable to special process) Ability to wear a respirator for extended periods of time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assemble parts per work instructions •
  • Calibrate /ATP test production assemblies
  • Support product launch efforts, as assigned
  • Maintain flexibility to work in multiple areas, as assigned •
  • Collaborate with others in a team environment
  • Train others, as assigned
  • Complete other work, as assigned
