Job Title: Order Pull er

Position Summary:

The Order Puller is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by pulling, packaging, and staging products using industrial forklifts and warehouse equipment. This role ensures order accuracy, product integrity, and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull customer orders from various warehouse locations using industrial sit-down, stand-up forklifts, and cherry pickers.

• Package orders accurately using required packing materials (e.g., cartons, paper, etc.).

• Prepare and apply labels for outgoing cartons as required .

• Perform bin transfers and update bin locations to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Complete and submit all necessary documentation accurately and on time.

• Conduct quality control inspections, verifying product type, condition, and count.

• Weigh and stage completed orders in designated shipping areas.

• Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing empty skids and keeping aisles clear.

• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.

• Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.

• Adapt to changing priorities and complete other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Ability to safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, as well as cherry pickers.

• Experience using RF (radio frequency) scanners.

• Proficient with warehouse packing equipment such as strapping machines, shrink wrap, staple guns, and rivet tools.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.

• Solid understanding of warehouse material handling practices.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.

• Physically able to lift and move 30-50 lbs regularly and perform tasks that involve stooping, kneeling, or prolonged standing.

• Willingness and availability to work overtime on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience (sit-down and stand-up).

• At least 1 year of experience in order pulling.

• Prior experience in shipping or receiving within a warehouse environment.

• Must pass a company-administered forklift certification test.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required .
