Director of Operations (Finance)



This position reports directly to the head coach and has responsibility for the fundamental functional needs of the USF Lacrosse program, while adhering to all NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules and regulations. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Executive assistant to the head coach, program communications coordinator, logistics and scheduling, community partnership engagement, fundraising, team travel, game day operations, on campus recruiting. Liaison for compliance and academics. Liaison for external relations and branding. Recruitment and oversight of auxiliary personnel. Business originator-fiscal management of team expenses and other administrative functions needed to maintain effective operations of an Division 1 intercollegiate women's lacrosse program. Strengths in organizational, strategic, operational, and intrapersonal skills is necessary. Experience with lacrosse, social media and fan engagement is desired.Minimal Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of relevant experience in coaching, athletics operations or athletics management; or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NCAA Div I sports operations; Experience with lacrosse, social media and fan engagement

Manage schedule, travel, and communications for head coach. Responsible for ATH general program email. Responsible for team communications, scheduling, and onboarding new student-athletes. Work with nutritionist, S&C, and ATC for all team needs. Coordinate team building/bonding, leadership meetings and documentation. Help with recruitment and fulfillment of duties for managers or those in auxiliary roles. Budget items related to ordering, organization of team expenses, travel requests, expense reports, cash advances, and P-card
reconciliation of statements and receipts. Work with head coach to develop short and long range planning and efficiency.

Recruiting - Assist recruiting coordinator with all duties related to official and unofficial visits of recruits including, but not limited to hotel/travel accommodations,
meals, scheduling meetings, tours, itineraries, compliance approvals, academic approvals, preparing folders, photo shoots, and all necessities and logistics for events,
entertainment, prospect days/camps

Game Day Operations and Travel Coordinator - Coordinate all logistics related to game day with our events team. Coordinate team travel logistics: hotel, meals,
itineraries.

External liaison- Community Engagement, partnerships, social media support, branding oversight, fan engagement, player ambassador program, promotions,
fundraising, enhancing U program, produce a fall and spring team newsletter

Compliance and Academic Liaison- Execute duties related to compliance logistics- practice logs, meetings, recruiting logs, and helping to player academic needs and communications, recruiting on campus approvals. Academic Liaison- support requests needed to fulfill academic requirements of players, onboarding of new SA, or recruiting needs
