Supply Chain Optimization Manager (Project Management)



Job Summary

Identify customer logistical requirements and determine Medline's ability and process to meet those requirements in support of the Sales organization.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and oversee realistic/obtainable short and long-range goals for each supported site, in conjunction with area sales management.

  • Determine customer logistical requirements through initial logistical due diligence.

  • Provide logistical solutions by determining enhancements and alternatives for both internal and external distribution through onsite consultation and prepare business reviews and studies.

  • Implement strategic plans with the assigned customer(s) and area management in coordination with Area Sales Management.

  • Assist local branches setup, train and process initial orders. 

  • Prepare RFP responses and presentations.

  • Ensure continuity of customer relationships and profitability.

  • Support Best Practices by communicating and sharing policies/procedures developed at the various sites.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Logistics or Business.

  • At least 7 years of Supply Chain experience.

  • Healthcare IDN, GPO or Corporate Account experience.

  • Experience in project management.

  • Experience articulating research findings to customers.  

  • Strong presentation skills for RFP and Logistical consulting.

  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

  • Logistics consulting experience preferred.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$96,200.00 - $144,560.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
