Deputy Chief Information Officer (Primarily Remote, North Carolina Based) (Project Management)
This position will allow the successful candidate to work a schedule that will be primarily remote. While there is no expectation of being in the office routinely, they will be required to report to the Alliance Home Office (Morrisville, North Carolina) as needed for business meetings, at minimum one [1] day a week. The desired candidates will be a resident of North Carolina or if currently residing out of state, able to relocate for the position.
The Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO), in partnership with the EVP/Chief Information Officer, serves as a strategic and operational leader for the Alliance Information Technology Department. This role provides oversight across all facets of IT, with a particular emphasis on enterprise data management, including data governance, architecture, and the operations of the Enterprise Data Warehouse. The DCIO plays a critical role in forming and refining the IT strategic plan to ensure alignment with Alliance's organizational priorities and regulatory requirements.
The DCIO leads a diverse team of technology professionals and engages cross-functional stakeholders to promote confidence in IT systems and data-driven decision-making. This individual is responsible for enterprise-wide system design, technology selection, vendor contracting, budgeting, and implementation—including compliance with NCQA, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, and other security and data protection standards.
By ensuring that modern data platforms, trusted information assets, and analytics-ready data products are in place, the DCIO supports key clinical, operational, and regulatory initiatives across the organization.

Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, business administration, or other related field and a minimum of seven (7) years of IT management experience with increasing responsibilities in managing and supporting information technology and managing diverse teams in a healthcare or other IT delivery setting.

Employment for this position is contingent upon a satisfactory background check and credit check, which will be performed after acceptance of an offer of employment and prior to the employee's start date.
Salary Range
$203,445.60 - $254,307.00/Annually
Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
