Assistant Brand Manager (Marketing)



We are looking for an experienced Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing Team. In this role, you will assist in managing the brand from a business and marketing perspective to achieve short-term and long-term sales goals, market share and contribution in designated markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs analysis on the business, identifying opportunities and making recommendations for improvement and growth.Assists in development and execution of brand marketing plan.Works directly with other marketing team members, creative department, and outside agency as needed to develop and execute marketing programs.Leads cross-functional teams to develop and deploy key brand initiatives.Monitors brand expenditures and manages marketing advertising budget.Evaluates marketing programs, identifying key lessons learned and insights for application with future marketing activities.Strives to reduce waste, recycle products whenever possible, and re-use resources when practical.Works safely at all times, follows safety rules and policies, and participates in scheduled training. Reports injuries and near misses promptly and in required detailed format; proposes corrective action.Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in marketing, communications, sales, advertising, business administration, or related field; and 2-4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret such items as highly detailed professional, scientific, and technical journals, and legal documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from both inside and outside the company. Ability to write speeches, articles, or memo using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to such groups as top management, boards of directors, or the general public.

QUANTITATIVE SKILLS
Ability to comprehend financial principles. Ability to use a computer to create highly customized spreadsheets, charts and reports, presentations, and interpret data. Ability to analyze sales and cost data, profit and loss statements, and other quantitative data, and apply information to develop insights and make sound business recommendations to drive growth and profitability.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, analytical, and creative skills.Detail and results oriented.Ability to lead cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects.Demonstrated potential for leadership.Proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and other basic business applications.
