Treasury Management Sales Officer (Finance)
Role
The Treasury Management Sales Officer (TMO) plays a pivotal role in driving strategic sales for our organization. Reporting to the Director of Treasury Sales, this role is responsible for business development, new and cross-sales of Treasury Management products and services, retention of clients and deposit growth. The TMO will make outbound sales calls both on their own and with other bank officers. While the position will provide high level customer support for our top Treasury Management customers, this position is largely focused on business development efforts within our respective markets and referrals to other lines of business. The work will include sales presentations, completion of contracts and paperwork, and customer service. This positions focus will be to drive fee income and deposits through the specific sales of our TM offerings.

Bachelor's degree, preferred.
Skills
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Strong knowledge of commercial banking and treasury management products, including NACHA Rules, ACH transactions and file processing. Proficiency in time management and capable of working independently. Strong organizational skills. Effective presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication and conflict resolution skills. Ability to identify key decision makers and overcome objections to move the sales process forward. The ability to motivate or influence others is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy, influence and trust.
Physical Requirements
Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management.
Regular in-office attendance required.

Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
