SUMMARY

The Yardi Training Content Creator is an experienced and dynamic team player who will support the successful adoption and use of the Yardi Senior product suite. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-impact digital learning content that supports end-user adoption of Yardi software and related business systems. Ideal candidates will combine instructional design expertise with a deep understanding of Yardi modules and the unique operational workflows of senior living communities.

As a key contributor to our training strategy, you will develop engaging, self-directed learning modules, quick-reference materials, and interactive media that enhance technical fluency across multiple departments—including clinical, finance, maintenance, procurement, and property operations.

The Yardi Training Content Creator will be required to work within a high demand, performance driven environment that focuses on implementing scalable solutions that are aligned with the company's overall business strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop engaging e-learning content, including SCORM-compliant courses, screen recordings, infographics, simulations, and microlearning modules tailored to Yardi workflows.
  • Translate complex Yardi system processes (e.g., Voyager, Payscan, eProcurement, RentCafé, Facility Manager, etc.) into clear and intuitive training materials aligned with adult learning principles.
  • Create self-paced, mobile-optimized content that accommodates diverse learning styles and user experience levels.
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, internal departments, and Yardi stakeholders to gather requirements and validate accuracy.
  • Apply instructional design best practices to create learning objectives, assessments, and retention-focused interactions.
  • Innovate with the use of graphics, animations, voiceovers, video, and other media to maximize learner engagement.
  • Regularly update content to reflect new workflows, software updates, regulatory changes, or business needs.
  • Administer and maintain content within the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring ease of access and clear reporting structures.
  • Engage with end users and stakeholders to collect feedback, measure outcomes, and continuously improve learning solutions.
  • Assist with ad-hoc training projects and deliverables across departments as needed.

TRAVEL

Weekly out-of-area and overnight travel should be expected as outlined in specific projects for which this role will engage.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Business, Education, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Agile, Six Sigma, or PMP certification strongly preferred.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design or software training, preferably within a senior housing, real estate, or healthcare environment.
  • Direct experience with Yardi modules such as: Voyager (Senior Housing), Payscan, eProcurement, Facility Manager, RentCafé, Construction Manager, Utility Manager, Vendor Café, Job Cost, Fixed Assets, and Document Manager.
  • Prior experience with training in property management systems like RealPage, Entrata, MRI, or PointClickCare is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of senior housing workflows, such as leasing, AP/AR, clinical services, and maintenance.
  • Experience developing instructor-led content (virtual or live) is a bonus.

Skills / Specialized Knowledge:

  • Strong working knowledge of Yardi Voyager and related modules used in senior housing or property management operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery for technical or software-based content.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate).
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and best practices for SCORM or xAPI integration.
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills—able to convey complex technical concepts in plain language.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to design for diverse audiences, from front-line caregivers to executive leadership.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across departments including IT, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Creative thinker with a strong sense of visual design and user engagement strategies.
