Full Time Cook (Food Services)

Are you an experienced cook who takes pride in preparing meals that are both delicious and meaningful? At Columbia Place Assisted Living, we believe food is more than nourishment—it's comfort, connection, and care. We are looking for a dependable cook with healthcare or senior living experience who enjoys working hard, staying organized, and making a daily impact on the lives of our residents.
What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve tasty, nutritious meals in large quantities, following established menus and portion guidelines.
• Accurately accommodate special diets and prepare modified foods (such as pureed meals) with care and consistency.
• Ensure food safety by recording temperatures, maintaining sanitization standards, and keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and orderly.
• Present food in an appealing and appetizing way to enhance our residents' dining experience.
• Assist with serving meals and support dietary team members; provide supervision when the Dietary Supervisor is unavailable.
• Collaborate with staff across all departments to support the health and well-being of residents.
• Participate in training and orientation to uphold high standards of service.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a healthcare, senior living, or similar setting.
• ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines.
• A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work under supervision or independently.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and stay active throughout the shift.
