Corporate Banking Operations, Officer (Finance)



Who we are looking for

Global Credit Finance (GCF) Loan Operations supports the GCF division within Investment Services. We are seeking a Loan Servicing Unit (LSU) Officer responsible for servicing credit facilities on the Bank's loan accounting system, processing cash transfers, and performing reconcilements. This role is essential to maintaining operational accuracy and efficiency within our credit servicing workflow.

What you will be responsible for

As an Officer you will:

  • Contribute to the daily loan servicing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support loan onboarding, maintenance, payments, rate resets, and reconciliations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Loan IQ, optimizing platform use and identifying opportunities for enhancement or automation.
  • Manage syndicated facilities as the Agent lead, including participant communications and notices for all loan activities.
  • Coordinate workflows across teams, including loan request data, to ensure seamless execution and alignment with operational priorities.
  • Escalate past due items promptly and ensure timely resolution in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Perform data quality reviews and cleanup to maintain integrity across systems and reporting.
  • Train and mentor staff to support team development and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Project Management teams on Loan IQ upgrades, testing, and implementations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to drive operational excellence.
  • Provide guidance on complex loan structures, including syndicated, bilateral, and agency deals.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (Credit, Risk, Finance, Legal) and external partners (Agents, Borrowers) to resolve issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure procedures align with current processes and regulatory expectations.
  • Work from the office four days per week.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial loan operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Loan IQ is required.
  • Strong understanding of loan products, servicing processes, interest calculations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

Salary Range:
$60,000 - $90,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
