Payroll Administrator (Administrative)



Purpose or General Objective: To assist the agencys Human Resources Department by performing administrative and clerical tasks relevant to all functions of the department. Primary responsibility will be for continuous payroll maintenance and processing.
Essential Duties
Human Resources functions in preparation for payroll. This will include processing of new employees, status changes, time off verifications, and terminations. Cross-train and support as needed the coordination/administration of employee insurance benefits: enrollment and terminations in accordance with ACA regulations.Prepare and maintain employee files for Human Resources, both electronically and in physical files.Prepare income verifications and wage information requests.Maintain the agencys Human Resources systems on a day-to-day basis.Backup for External Mail Processing, reception area; greet public, switchboard operations, etcMaintain required databases, logs and other tracking forms on a regular basis; help prepare reports as directed. This would include the driving licenses, auto insurance, keys, etc.Assist with legal documentation and administration of unemployment claims, FLMA, and CARF requirements as needed.Assist with processing of EEO, Vets 4212, E-Verify, and other HR reports as needed.Track and maintain CPR/First Aid certifications and schedule training annually to maintain active status.Track and maintain driving and insurance records for company drivers.Train new supervisors on our HRIS and how to use it.Assist in ordering of HR related supplies.
