Description:
Provides career coaching and guidance, and job search assistance to students and alumni.
1. Meets individually with students to review career assessment and assist with establishing academic and career goals.
2. Provides career coaching and guidance to students and alumni.
3. Advises on skill development and helps students implement timelines.
4. Reviews job search documents and provides individual feedback; assists with developing job search strategies.
5. Assists with planning and hosting career events.
6. Assists with employer and community outreach.
7. Creates and presents workshops on professionalism, resume writing, networking, and interviewing.
8. Creates schedules and supervises department student workers.
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, business and related fields and (2) years related experience
