Business Intelligence Analytics Manager (Information Technology)



JOB DESCRIPTION
This position focuses on enterprise analytics, including sales, merchandising, and revenue, while building the bridge into procurement and operational analytics to ensure end-to-end visibility across our commercial ecosystem. Youll play a critical role in shaping how our teams measure performance, communicate results, and use data to guide decision-making.
With your expertise in business intelligence, data strategy, and stakeholder engagement, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of reporting and insights for the Commercial Operations team. You will guide the development and improvement of dashboards, metrics, and ad hoc analyses that help business leaders act with confidence. Collaboration will be key as you partner with sales, merchandising, procurement, finance, and IT to ensure data solutions reflect both technical rigor and business relevance. You are someone who goes beyond building reports you connect the dots, translate complex data into clear insights, and influence decisions that move the business forward. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Commercial Analytics and work closely with the broader Analytics and Technology teams. This is a hybrid role, with at least 2 days per week in our Bronx, NY headquarters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee day-to-day analytics for sales, merchandising, and revenue, while expanding measurement frameworks into procurement analytics.Lead the creation, maintenance, and optimization of BI dashboards and reports to ensure stakeholders have reliable visibility into performance.Synthesize data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that guide decision-making across Commercial Operations.Collaborate with BI engineering and data teams to ensure data pipelines and semantic models align with business requirements.Manage requests and priorities for ad hoc analysis, helping various teams answer critical business questions with accuracy and clarity.Communicate findings effectively across levels of the organization, from tactical users to senior leadership.Identify analytics gaps and opportunities, proposing new tools, processes, or approaches to improve efficiency and insight quality.Provide mentorship and guidance to analysts, promoting best practices in report design, visualization, and data storytelling.

QUALIFICATIONS:
6+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, preferably within sales, merchandising, or commercial operations contexts.Strong SQL expertise for querying and analyzing large datasets; familiarity with data modeling concepts.Proficiency in BI platforms such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau, with experience designing dashboards and reusable datasets.Strong understanding of KPIs and reporting frameworks in sales, merchandising, procurement, and revenue management.Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex analyses for non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.Experience collaborating with technical teams (data engineers, IT) to ensure reporting is built on sound data foundations.Leadership experience guiding analysts or project teams is strongly preferred.
