Perform team lead functions, including ensuring all picking deadlines and priority cut-off times are met.
Review daily pick errors with pickers.
Ensure all waves are printed, distributed, and picked to meet deadlines while maintaining a first-in-first-out concept.
Identify special instructions on pick tickets to comply with salesperson requests.
Conduct timely research to locate products and prevent backorders.
Help attract and retain a qualified and motivated workforce, fostering new ideas for improvements.
Continuously develop direct reports by coaching and grooming them for excellence. Document progress and ensure associates are cross-trained to provide adequate coverage in key processes.
Assist with evaluating employee performance, handling disciplinary issues, and maintaining an environment of respect and accountability to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
Track and maintain productivity standards, assessing staff, supplies, and equipment needs.
Maintain a "Tour Ready" clean and safe work area and secure building/operations at the end of the shift.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

The ability to understand basic English.
Ability to stand, stoop, lift, walk, and perform manual dexterity.
Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for the position.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as needed.
Ability to travel less than 20%.
Ability to operate related equipment.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to the Outbound Operations Supervisor.
Interacts with internal management staff, coworkers, customers, corporate office, sales teams, vendors, etc.
