Bridge Card Room Attendant (Personal Services)



Position Summary:

The Card Room Attendant will be responsible for keeping the card rooms clean, stocked, and fresh.

Essential Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Graciously tends to the needs of members and guests.
  • Responsible for maintaining and cleaning all card rooms.
  • Service of beverages & snacks to members in all card rooms.
  • Always address members needs and requests immediately.
  • Communicate with Manager to ensure all guest/member requests are fulfilled.
  • Excellent service presentation and communication skills
  • Outgoing personality and sense of urgency
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Perform other functions as assigned by management
  • Completes opening and closing side work including food items & dishware.
  • Organizes and displays of snacks and setting up food displays and drinks.
  • Greeting members who come in for card play with a smile
  • Replenishing snacks and food display as needed while members are in the room
  • Retrieves and/or puts away dishes and glass wear from service area.
  • Moves tables and chairs as required.
  • Cleaning to included but not limited tables, chairs, floors, and dusting
  • Hours are approximately 9:30 a.m. .to 5:30 p.m.

  • Must have the ability to work independently.
  • Must be comfortable providing excellent customer service
  • Must have a pleasant and upbeat attitude
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Knowledge/Ability to vacuum/mop and clean areas.
  • Adhere to St Andrews CC dress and grooming standards.

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

  • Two years of food service experience is preferred.

The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation:

  • Salary is commensurate with experience.
