Department: User Support Services Salary: $12.00 per hour Description:

Duties:
• Monitors the operation of the general computer lab and assists with software installations if needed • Greets students as they come into the general computer area and provides first-tier user support to students and faculty • Provides data entry for the Help Desk Ticketing System • Performs opening and/or closing procedures • Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must have good telephone etiquette and good customer service skills • Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Internet browsers, MS Office Professional Suite, and other applications • Must be a self-starter in exercising initiative and have the ability to get things done by performing daily tasks effectively • Solve basic routine Software and Hardware issues as necessary
Qualifications:
• Must be a UHD student • Must be able to work the evening shift (4 pm to 9 pm) and/or split shift • Experience requirements: Less than one year • Must provide a resume and current UHD class schedule
