Cyber Digital Team – Renewal Underwriter (Finance)



JOB DESCRIPTION

The Cyber Digital Underwriting Team at Chubb is actively seeking a Renewal Underwriter to join their ranks. This position is primarily focused on underwriting Cyber & Tech E&O renewals specifically for commercial clients whose revenues are less than $100 million. As a renewal underwriter, you will play a crucial role in assessing and underwriting cyber renewal accounts, which involves a thorough analysis of applications, supporting documents, and third-party data to accurately determine risk exposure. In this role, you will evaluate various IT Security Controls, including common security measures, data protection protocols, and potential vulnerabilities. This evaluation is essential for determining appropriate coverage limits and premiums for Chubb insureds. You will also collaborate closely with brokers and agents to gather underwriting information, respond to inquiries, and negotiate policy terms and conditions effectively. Your responsibilities will include binding coverage and documenting the underwriting files, as well as managing an assigned territory or book of business. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in various projects or tasks that assist the team in achieving its goals. This position not only requires a keen analytical mindset but also exceptional communication skills to navigate the complexities of underwriting in the cyber insurance landscape.
