The Accounting Manager plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across Timken's U.S. legal entities, in full compliance with U.S. GAAP. This role is responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and ensuring the accuracy of reconciled account balances.
Beyond core financial reporting, this role leads key global accounting functions, including leasing, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting, ensuring consistency, transparency, and compliance across all related processes.
A key component of this role is ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. The Accounting Manager serves as a liaison for internal and external audits and is responsible for maintaining robust internal controls for U.S. legal entities.
