The Impact You'll Make in this Role
The IT Lead Analyst oversees a small group of functional and technical analysts. This individual is responsible for guiding the team's analytical and development work while simultaneously contributing to the analytical tasks themselves. The IT Lead Analyst helps to set technical direction, ensures project completion, fosters team growth, and manages day-to-day tasks.

As an IT Lead Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Providing direct supervision to assigned employees through leadership, training and development, allocating work assignments, reviewing progress in achieving objectives and enforcing corporate policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring alignment of resources to organizational objectives. Monitors progress to objectives.
  • Managing workforce vendors and contracts.
  • Leading requirements analysis, validation and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable
  • Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or requirements workshops.
  • Communicating (verbal and written) with business units that rely on that information to define system requirements or organizational processes and company management
  • Collecting and analyzing the project's business requirements and transferring the same knowledge to the development team.
  • Reviewing and/or preparing system documentation and specifications in accordance with methodology.
  • Leading small teams of analysts to produce targeted results
  • Suggesting areas for process improvement along with possible solutions
  • Facilitating requirements prioritization based on business value
  • Managing requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project.
  • Managing changes to requirements through effective use of change control processes and tools
  • Balancing technology and business issues as well as communicating appropriately with both technology and business experts
  • Assisting in enforcement of project deadlines, schedules, and methodologies
  • Developing wire frames, workflows, use case diagrams, flowcharts, and other analysis-type documentation.
  • Developing test scenarios and test cases, and testing activities necessary to assess the quality and completion of system implementations
  • Performing data analytics using SQL and other tools as necessary
  • Working with Global Compliance teams (IT audit, IT SDLC, Regulatory, Trade, SOX and GxP) to provide details on system setups and any necessary validation documentation
  • Ensuring the knowledge transition from project teams to support teams is properly recorded in knowledge base tool(s) and merged into day-to-day activities

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher AND four(4) years of experience with Softrax Revenue Management System, preferably on-premises, and its integration with related applications in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

High School Diploma/GED from AND eight (8) years of experience working Softrax Revenue Management System, preferably on-premises, and its integration with related applications in a private, public, government or military environment

AND

Four (4) years' experience implementing IT solutions in a global business environment

Four (4) years' experience with Microsoft Project, MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Understand all aspects of software development lifecycle

Four (4) years' experience in using SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Two (2) years of supervisory/team lead experience

Experience in creating PowerBI reports and dashboards

Experience in supporting system interfaces

Lean/Six Sigma Green belt (or other process improvement disciplines)

Work location: Remote-United States

Travel: May include up to 5% [domestic/international]

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
