Services/Maintenance (Finance)
Position Summary: This temporary, part-time (12 - 20 hours a week) position is responsible for safely transporting passengers from one location to another on predetermined route at the Tampa Campus, allows those authorized to board bus and applying passenger guidelines.
With a minimum of 12 hours and maximum of 20 hours per week, shifts choices are available as follows: Mondays to Fridays: 8:15 - 11:45 am; 10:15 - 1:15 pm; Mondays to Thursdays: 3:15 - 6:45 pm; 6:00 - 9:00 pm; Fridays: 2:15 - 6:00 pm; Saturdays and Sundays 7.5 hour shifts from 10:30 am - 6:30 pm.
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour based on experienceMinimum Qualifications: One year of experience driving buses, or passenger vans; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Possession of a current Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class B driver's license with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction is required upon employment.
Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience driving buses or passenger vans with preference to experience in the transit field. Experience with a university/college setting preferred
Special Skills/Licenses/Training/Certifications: Possession of a valid Florida CDL (commercial Driver's License), class B with a passenger endorsement with no air brake restriction. Possess a valid DOT medical card. Pass pre-employment back ground tests to include FDOT Physical.Working at USF
