The Director, Product Operations supports the VP of Product Strategy to enable the transformation of Equifax Workforce Solutions into a product led organization. A person in this role will enable Product rigor across Workforce Solutions by owning and managing the product tools and reporting capabilities in support of product planning at all levels of the organization. Key responsibilities span product strategy, project management of key improvement initiatives, hands-on experience in tools, processes and reporting on product data. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and product tools like Aha! and Figma. Behaviors aligned with company values, such as customer focus, product growth, and teamwork are essential to be successful.
What you'll do:
Product Strategy Discipline - Contributes on efforts to drive recommended and/or best practices throughout the Product Management discipline and Product Lifecycle including: Market Opportunity Assessment, Product Definition, Product Strategy & Planning, Product Delivery and Launch, Growth & Portfolio Management; Analyzes needs assessments from Product Management (PM) teams to identify key gaps. Analyzes PM team maturity to develop strategic initiatives in line with organizational objectives; Organizes possible approaches to solve PMs problems (Scope, stakeholders, tooling needs). Socializes new developments with PM teams to gain adoption and gather additional feedback for future iterations
Innovation Discipline - Builds reports to highlight key metrics of innovation; Develops a working knowledge of innovation disciplines, design thinking, etc and key factors for a successful ideation; Has hands-on knowledge of tooling used to capture and develop ideas through prototyping, testing, iteration development; Helps organize stakeholder trials for ideation feedback
Tools and Processes - Assembles more advanced analysis of utilization to optimize cost and waste; Actively manages the tool usage, utilization, standardization and works through influence to improve tool usage; Works through influence with stakeholders to steer tool configuration and customization to standards; Manages tool administration to ensure data, usage, access is in compliance with internal policies and procedures
Product Data - Analyzes product data important to drive business outcomes; Links product data in such a way to enable deeper analysis to happen across key metrics; Drives insights development to display key metrics to senior stakeholders, iterate and improve views as part of ongoing efforts; Builds consensus with key stakeholders on what decisions they need to make and helps to build solution to current problems, gaps
Culture and Communications - Actively contributes to events designed to connect product teams and cross-disciplinary colleagues to support the Product Mindset approach; Drafts communications of key happenings of assembled data points to support the cultural shift; Understands and actively engages in driving efforts to enable and enhance connections across product and other contributing teams
What experience you need:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
5-7 years of product management or equivalent business experience working in a product-led organization within Technology, Financial Services or Data & Analytics required
Demonstrated working experience using Agile methodologies and/or project management methodologies required
Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate efforts in a highly matrixed environment
Experience in Product tools (Aha, JIRA, Figma)
