DevOps Engineer (Finance)

As a DevOps Engineer in Norcross, GA or Omaha, NE, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to making possibilities happen in the payments industry!

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and policies, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices to continuously improve our cloud environment.
  • Support and Maintain a fast-paced and high performance production environment.
  • On-call support rotation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Proficient with Grafana for monitoring, Zabbix for alerting and PagerDuty integration
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices.
