Regional Physical Security Supervisor (Finance)



The Regional Physical Security Supervisor will operate in a lead or working supervisor capacity of the regional portfolio within Equifax and will be based in our St. Louis, MO offices. Our team members provide Global Situational Awareness support, Security & Safety Incident Response and Crisis Management support, any notifications and escalations. The goal of the role is to protect employees, facilities and assets within the regional portfolio. Using a variety of tools ranging from enterprise access control systems and alarm monitoring platforms to various business intelligence sources, open source media, network video management applications and internet and internal collaborative tools, the Physical Security Supervisors job is to detect, analyze and alert others regarding any condition impacting Equifax assets, businesses or personnel.
  • This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
  • This position is located in St. Louis, MO. This resource will have to be local to St. Louis and will work in our St. Louis based Equifax locations (primarily Rider Trail)
  • Office expectations: Onsite weekly requirements - must be able to be onsite each week Monday through Friday (5 days a week).
  • Due to the nature of Physical Security based roles, this role may require additional onsite responsibilities outside of normal business hours occasionally / as needed.

What you'll do
  • Operate in a lead or working supervisor capacity of a Regional Physical Security team, supervising a team of contracted security officers
  • Monitor electronic physical security systems, including Access Control and Video Surveillance. Provide Global Situational Awareness support, Security & Safety Incident Response and Crisis Management support, notifications and escalations.
  • Assess situations to protect employees, facilities and assets within the regional portfolio.
  • Detect, analyze and alert others regarding any condition impacting Equifax assets, businesses or personnel.
  • Monitor various methods of communication to include email, chat, and phone; engages with internal and external customers
  • Analyzes technical situations and escalates based on set requirements
  • Provide technical support for a range of security platforms
  • Maintain physical security processes, procedures, hardware and software to include management of the service and maintenance contracts
  • Manage local guard staffing for proper shift coverage, training and support
  • Provide assistance with maintaining physical security controls
  • Provide assistance with physical security budget planning, purchase orders, assessments, testing/validation and other program documentation as needed
  • Proactively identifies and addresses physical security concerns
  • Ability to interpret physical security guidelines and policies

What experience you need

  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience required.
  • 2 -5 years of previous related security support and operational experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and critical thinking skills; ability to effectively and independently compile high-level Situation Reports.
  • Proficiency level experience using Google Suite (G Suite) environments and Windows based programs
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced and quickly changing environment.

What could set you apart

  • Experience in background monitoring enterprise physical security monitoring systems, such as C*CURE or other access control platforms (i.e. OnGuard or ProWatch), Video Surveillance Management Systems (i.e. Avigilon or Exacqvision)
  • Excellent time-management, communication, presentation, and organizational skills required. Will be required to communicate to a range of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload based on urgency
  • Familiarity with security badging and scheduling technologies and processes.
  • Experience effectively responding to incidents, monitoring assets, and communicating to a range of audiences utilizing various channels, including mass notification tools.
  • A bilingual or multilingual speaker with knowledge of pronunciation rules and natural language processing is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience.
  • SIA CSPM or ASIS International CPP, PSP, or APP Certification.
