In this role, you will:

• Work on a Research & Development team focused on the Cottonelle® consumer dry bath tissue business.
• Develop and commercialize innovation programs across tissue machine and converting assets.
• Focus on launching new products, developing new process capabilities, and commercializing manufacturing operations at both pilot and commercial scale.
• Collaborate broadly within the corporation, including with R&D, pilot plant teams, mill operations, and cross-functional disciplines.

In one of our R&D roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science related field, preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in product development, technology development, executing consumer and/or technical/scientific studies.
• Advanced communication skills and ability to influence leadership across all levels of the R&E and cross-functional organization.
• Demonstrated strengths in some of these areas: scientific experiment methods/analysis, planning/organizing, developing learning plans, comprehension of technical literature and executing consumer research.
• Experience in executing consumer research through various market research methodologies and test methods.
• Demonstrated ability to provide work direction to team members not in a direct reporting relationship.
• Experience in product development, tissue processes, design of experiments, data analysis and safe operation of high-speed manufacturing and/or converting equipment and processes, preferred.
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to work in Quality and Specification Management (PLM) systems while providing clear direction as to opportunity areas for improvement, preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to be coached and help in coaching less-experienced scientists/engineers, preferred.
• 15-25% travel

Grade 10 / P2: grade level and / or compensation may vary based on location.

Salary Range: 85,540 – 105,620 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
