Multinational Claims Billing Manager (Finance)

Multinational Claims Billing Manager

The Chubb Global Services (CGS) group focuses on delivering superior clients services to Chubb's multinational business across Chubb's diverse product line. The CGS Finance group oversees global money movement, billing and collections of reinsurance and deductibles, reporting, and overall multinational guidance and strategy.

Reporting Relationship:

The role will report to Chubb Global Services Vice President of Claims Billing. The individual will communicate directly with internal management and other interdepartmental groups to resolve issues and provide ad hoc support when requested. There will also be opportunities to interact directly with our customers to help resolve issues or concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for managing a team who handles US produced accounts. The team is responsible for calculating, billing, and notifying the insured and reinsurers of invoices on behalf of Foreign Casualty and Medical Risk Business units. This involves notifying insured/reinsurers on a timely basis, preparation of billing packages to ensure accurate billing. Some work will pertain to complex claim issues and may involve difficult presentations to external and internal contacts.

  • Read an Interpret Binders, policy endorsements, and Reinsurance Agreements on complex cash flow accounts produced from US and local overseas offices
  • Confirm and document interpretation with Underwriters
  • Work with Global Services and Overseas offices to provide presentations on billing capabilities as well as implementation for successful processing of loss billing.
  • Create the appropriate insured and reinsurance calculations, in multiple currencies, in FIRST from weekly feeds for payments and reserves
  • Create and calculate monthly captive reports inclusive of billed to date, current billed activity, proportional reserves, as well as captive varying aggregate monitoring
  • Quality Control and approve large calculations
  • Manage and act on workflows and reports created from weekly load for appropriate attachment to contracts for billing.
  • Facilitate an environment to train team on identifying and creating procedures for custom account processes and reinsurance.
  • Produce monthly senior management reports on insured and reinsured liability along with summarization of executed billing functions.
  • Work with FIRST IT to create solutions for our changing multinational business. Test and Implement system solutions via FIRST builds and downstream impacts.
  • Candidate must be able to effectively work and collaborate with all levels of senior management for reports, account servicing, and selling of enhanced capabilities
