Role Summary
The Lead Analyst, Data Activation within Individual Investor (II) Data and Analytics plays a crucial role in supporting over $200B in client assets and serving 1.3M investors. This position will be a leader within II Data Management and will be responsible for overseeing and managing the data product functions that enable the data activation and accessibility needs of the organization to maximize the time to value for our data assets.

This leader will take full ownership of the data activation agenda and roadmap working closely with stakeholders in Client Experience, Marketing, Global Digital Solutions, II Data and Analytics, and the Data and Architecture technology teams. This includes overseeing a partner engagement model that is proactive and consultative, coordinating partner platform requirements and priorities and enhancing governance and oversight practices that ensures accessible, high quality, protected and compliant data.  

The Lead Analyst will collaborate with the business and technical partners to promote frictionless data distribution capabilities with increased efficiency leading to reduced data preparation and delivery times.  This includes but is not limited to developing accessible data catalogs with standardized definitions to improve data discovery, a robust requirement gathering process, and identifying and implementing automation capabilities.  Through strong communication and project management skills and leveraging agile best practices they will drive toward fit for purpose solutions.  This includes gathering, defining and documenting requirements, prioritizing the development work, testing, change management and coordinating production releases. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 8+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Agile methodologies, preferably working with marketing and data platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience consulting with business partners to assess needs through active listening, absorbing information quickly, and integrating diverse ideas.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills including strong communication, relationship building, conflict resolution and strategic thinking.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

Please review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity.

$120,000.00 - $205,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$132,000.00 - $225,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$150,000.00 - $256,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
