Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer (Finance)



Use your knowledge of electrical engineering, processes and tools to help Honeywell-Intelligrated deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of material handling, warehouse automation and e-commerce fulfillment products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of electrical codes. (NEC, NFPA79, UL508A)
  • Plan, manage and execute project deliverables with little oversight.
  • Ability to identify and communicate status and risks as appropriate to management.
  • Prepare and/or update reports and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems on new and existing products.
  • Identify areas for technical improvement.
  • Willingness to travel as required. (10%)
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor others.
  • Ability to refine or develop standards and procedures.
  • Ability to create complex test plans.
  • Understand customer operations and problems.
  • Promote coordination with project teams.

Your role will impact our ability to deliver innovative solutions. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Experience with 480vac power distribution.
  • Experience with 24vdc systems.
  • Experience with Profibus, ProfiNet, EtherCat, Ethernet.
  • Experience with PLC and PC based control systems.
  • Experience with motor control including VFD's and Servo's.
  • Experience with schematic design.
  • Proficiency with: ACAD, ACAD-electrical, MS Excel, Visual Basic, Oracle.
  • 8-15 years of experience in material handling or other similar industrial/manufacturing automation fields.
