Quality Engineer (Finance)



We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our fast-paced industrial manufacturing team. This role is critical in driving product conformance, optimizing process performance, and ensuring the integrity of our raw materials and vendor supplies. The ideal candidate thrives in high-speed environments and has a passion for continuous improvement and root cause problem solving.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is a plus).
  • Experience with vendor management, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality data analysis software/tools.

  • Troubleshoot bottlenecks in production and quality control processes, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Perform product evaluations to maintain product conformance with internal and external standards.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality engineering tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, DOE, Fishbone, 5 Whys) to reduce waste, variability, and defects.
  • Conduct standard work audits and layered process audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to drive quality improvements.
  • Prepare and present clear, actionable reports and KPIs to managers and stakeholders.
  • Engage and train employees on quality best practices, promoting a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Support regulatory and customer audits and certifications as needed.
