ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Clean guest room and public areas according to resort procedures.
Keep closets clean and organized.
Keep hallways and floors clean and free of trash.
Wash, dry and put away dishes in lodging units with kitchenettes.
Use proper care in handling and operating equipment.
Stock carts/baskets.
Keep chemical bottles filled with correct product.
Maintain high standards for quality.
Help maintain inventory of housekeeping items and inform supervisors of supply needs.
Must complete assigned rooms in a timely manner to ensure that all rooms are ready for guest check in at 4:00 p.m.
Must adhere to safety standards by wearing protective gloves and back brace when required.
Flexible working hours.? Some job sharing may be required.
Property Management Housekeepers are required to drive the company vehicle and meet insurance qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
Protect the safety of self-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests.
Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
Operate equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others.
Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities with staff.

WORK SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.??
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Prior custodial or housekeeping experience preferred. High school diploma or General Education Degree.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.?Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.? Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate measurements, amounts such as amount of cleaning solution to use, proportions, percentages and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.

Employees must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, injury, etc.); and possess the strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers.
