Senior Lead Community Support Specialist $22/hr. (Finance)
The Senior Lead Community Supervision Specialist provides support and supervision to each circuit office in their specified region. Works with a diverse group of important external stakeholders, as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. They serve as the connection between funders, referral sources and community partners and will serve as a backup to Assistant Director, Lead Community Supervision Specialist and Community Supervision Specialist when needed.
We are looking for a Senior Lead Community Supervision Specialist who must have:
- Associate degree with two (2) years of experience working with youth. A combination of education and appropriate experience can be substituted for degree.
- One (1) year experience in leadership. Familiarity with Juvenile Justice System and community resources preferred
- Must have valid driver's license, ability to use personal vehicle for work purposes, and appropriate vehicle insurance.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
- Ensure all invoicing is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure documentation in all databases is accurate and to contract requirements.
- Train and mentor staff, new and current, on agency policies, procedures, and rules.
- Review monthly staff schedule for assigned region and submit to all required persons by contract specified timeframe.
- Establish and maintain relationships with all community partners.
- All other duties assigned
Job Essentials:
- Manage caseload of up to approximately 5 youth and travel in the region to make contacts as necessary.
- Lead and participate in monthly staffing, supervision and case Reviews
- Assist circuits with vacancies, vacations, Paid Time Off, high number of youths.
- Ensure program staff comply with regulations and timelines of funding sources, Quality Improvement goals and contract standards
- Approve and audit staff timecards, mileage reports
