Welder - 3rd Shift (Finance)



As a Welder - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will perform various welding tasks to manufacture and repair metal products, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards and specifications. You will work onsite at our Palmetto, FL location.YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in welding or a similar role
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Technical certification in welding or a related field
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and 5S+1
• Proficient in welding standards and best practices

You will report directly to our Welding Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Palmetto, FL location.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our welding operations, ensuring that all welds meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior welders, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate on a team of welders and conducting welding operations
• Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications
• Train and mentor junior welders
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate welding activities
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followed
