Assistant Director of Academic Success (Finance)

Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Academic Success (ADAS) will develop processes to identify and support students' academic success. Programmatically, this involves suggested procedural changes to improve
knowledge retention, leading to degree attainment for class cohorts. The ADAS will also establish a system to identify resources and make student referrals for academic support. This position will closely collaborate with the Assistant Director of Curricular Outcomes to design content that supports the attainment and retention of learning outcomes.
The ADAS will work collaboratively with faculty to develop strategies and respond to students with academic difficulties to develop content-specific learning plans. They will develop academic intervention and remediation strategies for at-risk students, which include the administration of learning assessments and the development and implementation of individualized learning plans, including strategies for institutional and national standardized testing.
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, creative, and possess a strong knowledge base in educational psychology and learning behaviors; they must also be able to engage collaboratively with deans, chairs, and faculty. The position will report directly to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.Minimum Education & Experience:

(c) Six years of direct experience for a master's degree;
(d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
(e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
