Role Purpose

The Director of Sales Excellence is a Commercial Analytics leader who ensures Honeywell BA's significant external and internal data assets are translated into practical, revenue driving tools for our global salesforce, with demonstrable value creation via measurable pipeline and vertical sales growth. This role combines stakeholder engagement with relevant data expertise, to enable regional sales and channel teams to turn intelligence into action.

This individual also will execute disciplined Management Operating System (MOS) rhythms with key leaders to ensure adoption and value creation is consistently realized. They will also be responsible for driving SFDC enrichment in our CRM systems (of incremental data solutions) and for creating practical enablement tools.

Reporting & Interfaces

  • Reports to: Senior Director, Commercial Analytics (Honeywell BA).
  • Interfaces with: Regional Sales & Channel Leaders, Strategic Sales, Commercial Excellence COE, Analytics & BI teams, Marketing.
As the Director of Sales Excellence, you will provide strategic guidance and direction for sales excellence initiatives, optimize sales processes, and drive continuous improvement to achieve sales goals.YOU MUST HAVE:
  • 10+ years in Commercial Excellence, Operations, or Data-Driven Leadership.
  • Strong expertise with CRM (Salesforce preferred).
  • Proven track record of using external/big data sources to drive commercial pipeline.
  • Excellent engagement and communication skills; able to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience building training, guides, or playbooks for large sales teams.

  • Industry knowledge in Building Automation, Fire, Security, or BMS markets.
  • Strong change management experience; proven ability to embed new processes globally.
Data Translation & CRM Enablement
  • Accountable for the process of mass uploading, modifying, and enriching data in Salesforce CRM and related platforms, partnering with necessary CRM/IT teams.
  • Partner with Analytics and BI teams to translate complex data outputs (webscraped intelligence, 3rd-party feeds, project databases) into user-friendly assets for sales teams.
  • Govern data quality standards and ensure sales data flows seamlessly across systems.

Engagement & MOS Leadership
  • Lead the MOS driving adoption of standard cadences for project assignment, pipeline creation, incremental data collection needs, and value creation.
  • Partner with regional sales leaders to ensure MOS is embedded and consistently executed.
  • Act as a visible engagement leader who can work directly with stakeholders to drive change.

Pipeline Creation
  • Champion use of internal Building Automation data and analytics to identify early-stage opportunities for sales teams.
  • Drive systematic conversion of external intelligence into sales opportunities at scale.
  • Collaborate with Channel and Strategic Sales leaders to ensure leads flow effectively into the right motions.

Training & Enablement
  • Develop training guides, playbooks, and enablement materials that ensure sales teams know how to leverage data, CRM processes, and MOS rhythms.
  • Facilitate onboarding, workshops, and ongoing capability building for sellers and managers.
  • Embed data-driven selling behaviors across regions.
