Key Responsibilities
- Second shift position with training being conducted on first shift 6 AM - 2:30 PM (with possible overtime).
- Provides quality service by following organizational standards.
- Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
- Carry out routine activities that produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Conduct routine quality checks on in process products.
- Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance and preparing needed material for process.
- Troubleshoot capabilities & issues with saw to ensure proper cuts.
- Assist winder operator with changeover processes.
- Load cores onto pallets/carts according to size, shape & type.
- Promotes clean area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Follow safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
- Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
