Security & Transportation Associate (Part Time) (Security)

The Security & Transportation Associate is responsible for the safe and secure operation of Company facilities, the delivery of inventory to dispensaries across the state in compliance with state regulations and supports the transfer of product/inventory throughout the production facility. This position is responsible for providing a safe, orderly, and secure environment for all staff, visitors, the public, and the general community. This is a non-armed position. Must have open weekend availability.
Responsibilities & Duties
Follows instructions given by the managerMonitor facility cameras, alarm system, and daily operations to protect against internal and external threats to the Company, including theft and violenceMonitor door access for vendors and visitors and escort throughout the facilityConduct inspections of the property and premises on a regular basisRespond to incidents, whether emergency or other, to maintain safety and securityInitiate notification of incidents to appropriate management and escalates to external response teams when necessary (e.g. police and emergency response)Document incidents using standard incident report formsLoad delivery van and perform compliant transportation of product to vendorsFollows prescribed delivery routes and reports any deviation from the planned route and any vehicle stops outside the scope of deliveryto the assigned transport monitorSupport inter-facility deliveries and transfersComplete required security/transportation documentation including, but not limited to manifests, invoices, inspection documents, incident reports, etc.Complete assigned tasks within the established timeframes and specificationsCompliant with Company SOPs and state regulationsMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow applicable safety procedures by wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to managementBehave in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamworkPerform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Must be at least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrevious work experience in law enforcement or security preferredMust have a valid drivers licenseMust have reliable transportation.Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations
