Job Description Summary

Oversee the management of the Inside Sales national accounts team.  Responsible for the development of procedures and workflows that support the needs of FIRST's national accounts.  Also responsible for the management and development of the national accounts team members.

What you'll Do

Business Development

  • Collaborate with the FIRST executive and sales teams on strategy to grow our high value national accounts relationships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior management at the various national accounts.  Act as the primary internal contact.
  • Act as the primary contact for all items needing escalation.  Responsible for making sure all escalated items are handling efficiently and effectively, with customer service being a very high priority. 
  • Develop strategy around rates and terms of national programs to drive growth.
  • Participate in meetings/calls with clients for operational and systematic expertise and recommend appropriate products and/or services. Identify required enhancements to automate or satisfy program prerequisites. Communicate expectations regarding FIRST's software development life cycle and deployment timeframes.
  • Responsible for maintaining the national accounts program guideline documents.
  • Collaborate with Credit to develop best practices for approvals of national accounts quotes.

Team Approvals & Reporting

  • Review & approve quotes up to a maximum amount financed of $5,000,000 for national accounts.  Uses relationship knowledge and experience to provide quotes that satisfy both the agent and borrower, while minimizing risk to FIRST.
  • Develop & monitor volume and trend analysis reporting based on the needs of each national account and FIRST senior management.
  • Assist with quoting when additional support is needed.

Team Development

  • Facilitate coaching plans & meetings aimed at staff development and/or performance improvement.
  • Monitor & assess team workload needs; ensure that resources are available throughout team to effectively meet service expectations and provide quality work product.  Collaborate with the regional leaders in Inside Sales if additional resources are needed.
  • Develop the workflows and responsibilities for the national accounts team members.

Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience

  • 7-10 years experience
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Premium Finance experience a plus
  • Account Management experience

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000 - $132,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
