Sr Engineer, Sustaining Engineering (Sales)



We are hiring a Sr Engineer Sustaining!!

This position is a hybrid role, working both in office in Neenah and remotely.

The Sr Engineer, Sustaining is responsible for sustaining activities and product development within TIDI Products. Working closely with cross function team members in marketing, regulatory, quality, operations, and other departments, the individual will lead projects related to sustaining activities, new products, line extensions, and product improvements primarily for a specific product line and will have additional enterprise wide sustaining responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as project leader, technical leader, or team player for projects including sustaining projects, new product development, line extensions, product improvements, and cost savings.
Provides technical support to Manufacturing team and Service team as needed.
Develops timelines and project plans with cross-functional input
Provides a sound working knowledge of engineering principals, concepts and practices.
Knowledgeable on FDA and ISO Design Controls, Risk Management, and Design Transfer. Follows TIDI procedures in accordance with regulations. Completes all necessary documentation.
Interfaces with customers (marketing, end user customers and OEM customers) to translate user needs into design requirements and validate designs.
Creates projects documents, protocols, drawings and documentation to applicable internal and external standards.
Engages outside design firms, testing labs and technical consultants.
Performs other tasks, as required or directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Engineering Degree, (Mechanical or Biomedical preferred)
At least 5 years experience as an engineer in a medical device company.
Experience in medical device development under FDA 21 CFR 820.30 Design Controls, ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 Risk Management.
Working knowledge of U.S. and international standards as applicable to medical device development.
Minimum intermediate proficiency with SolidWorks design software.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Demonstrated engineering, analytical and technical skills
Demonstrated effective communication
Successful team player; demonstrated successful interpersonal and influence management skills
Track record of successfully collaborating with multiple functions and teams to drive successful project outcomes
Demonstrated project management skills.
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Energetic, self-motivated and can work independently; demonstrated strong work ethic.
Ability to achieve credentialing through Vendormate and other Vendor Credentialing.

Estimated starting annual base salary pay ranges is $100,000 - $120,000.00 less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances.
