Starting Rate: $23.49-$32.45/hour depending upon experience
Work Hours: 1 st Shift (7a-3p) with overtime as needed
Location: We are located at 1005 Commercial Drive, Owensville, MO 65066.
As a Continuous Improvement Technical Specialist, you will:
- Collaborate with Site leaders to execute CI projects including data collections and analysis
- Lead process improvement events and activities
- Brainstorm, implement, and validate solutions in collaboration with cross- functional teams
- Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and advocate to leverage operator input
- Audit regular processes
- Monitor improvement initiatives
- Provide training to operational teams
- Communicate and report CI findings, progress and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business or a related field and 3-5 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
- Experience/knowledge regarding the concepts of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Solid computer skills including: MS EXCEL, MS Word, MS PPT and Google
- Proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis techniques, and process improvement initiation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate with varying levels of the organization
- Coaching and training experience added plus
