For this position to be successful, the incumbent should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Accounting, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in flow path management, production flow and leveling, and production managerial systems.

• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications

For this position to be successful, preference is given to candidates with:

• A Master's degree in Business, Accounting, or Information Systems from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in Supply Chain Management.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and data points in a fast-paced, deadline, and detailed oriented environment.

• Demonstrated ability of problem solving, systems thinking, project management, and team building.

• Expertise in Oracle Planning.

• Expertise in Excel.

Working Conditions

This position involves moderate exposure to risk of accident and requires following basic safety precautions. Work is normally performed in an interior work environment. While not exposed to hazardous materials, this position requires wearing full PPE to protect from mobile equipment and hot materials when on the shop floor.

This position requires light physical activity, such as walking, standing, and sitting for extensive periods of time, as well as some kneeling and bending.Primary Purpose of Job

Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, this position is responsible for monitoring the availability of product and releasing aluminum and titanium jobs based on the availability of the respective metal. Direct reports include (1) Scrap & Receiving Associate. The incumbent communicates continually with the Finance and Continuous Improvement Departments, Production Supervisors, Area Leads, as well as other Supply Chain & Logistics personnel. Externally, they communicate with suppliers and customers.

Accountability Objectives

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Interfacing daily with the Metal Room Supervisor and providing them with the latest metal releases.

• Collecting, measuring, and presenting facts related to time, cost, and accomplishment to generate a Line of Balance for specific processes, associated with new product introduction programs.

• Producing numerous ad hoc reports to provide the most accurate and timely information on metal releases and product inventory.

• Tracking daily WIP part positions.

• Establishing, communicating, and assuming the role of process improvement lead on various projects. This includes serving as the direct customer contact and correspondent lead during new product introduction programs.

• Communicating with and guiding program managers to identify root causes. Followed by developing and implementing root cause corrective action.

• Working in conjunction with Test Lab personnel to provide timely updates on part releases.

• Analyzing forecasts for new product introduction programs, which entails problem solving, data analysis, inventory, and cost reduction.

• Establishing and enhancing effective relationships with customer contacts by creating process documents and translating customer specifications into manufacturing plans.

• Developing and monitoring tracking systems to evaluate and execute supply chain plans to ensure the realization of approved operating results.

• Developing and deploying systemic changes in the Supply Chain order fulfillment function based upon lean manufacturing (ABS) principles to enhance customer satisfaction, while eliminating production and inventory waste.
