As a Performance & Reliability Engineer at Omnissa, you'll bring an analytical mind and a passion for software engineering. What You'll Do

  • Proactive Monitoring - Track application health, performance, and availability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Logz.io .
  • Telemetry & Metrics Analysis - Collect, interpret, and present data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Incident Detection & Response Support - Assist in triaging issues by reviewing logs, dashboards, and alerts.
  • Automation & Scripting - Write and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages to streamline monitoring, alerting, and data collection processes.
  • Documentation - Maintain runbooks, monitoring configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with development, SRE, and performance engineering teams to improve observability and operational efficiency.

What You'll Bring to Omnissa

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Linux or Windows server environments.
  • Basic experience with at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Understanding of monitoring and observability concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, Logz.io , or similar observability platforms.
  • Familiar with AI technologies such as Copilot, Llama, Gemini, GPT, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with Git or version control systems.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Location Type: Hybrid - a combination of remote and in-office work. You should reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the Atlanta office.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
