Sr. Product Line Manager, Lifestyle - HOKA Footwear (Finance)

Job Title: Sr. Product Line Manager - Lifestyle

Reports to: Director of Product, Lifestyle

Location: Portland, OR

The Role
As the HOKA Senior Product Line Manager - Lifestyle, you will be the pacesetter for the Lifestyle Footwear team at HOKA. Your aim will be to deliver best-in-class, disruptive, and consumer-centric products. You will join and invigorate an inspired product team, curating and managing key Lifestyle products through an authentic HOKA lens. Your passion for product and deep understanding of the Lifestyle landscape will be balanced with an analytical, diplomatic, and collaborative approach.

Your Impact

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the lifestyle market and varied lifestyle consumers.
  • Identify market potential, establish pricing and market strategies, estimate potential sales, and manage mature products through phase-out.
  • Manage multiple projects per season, leading by example through clear communication, expedient decision-making, and accountability for accuracy.
  • Drive and strategize global range; research and initiate new product opportunities, and interpret market trends as they relate to the HOKA brand.
  • Work alongside the Director of Product to execute strategy using inputs from consumer insights, sales history, and market research.
  • Collaborate with product design/development and costing to achieve set objectives in MFP for the season.
  • Compile seasonal product briefs and line plans for the category, including price, margin, SKU count, and all major meeting milestones.
  • Act as a key contact between sales, marketing, merchandising, product design, and global product development.
  • Curate presentation materials and present content with confidence at milestone meetings.
  • Spearhead preparation for key milestone meetings, working in collaboration with the PLM team, Product Coordinator, and others to build compelling and accurate presentations.
  • Achieve personal/project goals as laid out in our strategic plan and hit appointed KPI targets.
  • Ensure data accuracy, accountability, and approval in product line management systems.
  • Own, lead, and drive key project initiatives with confidence based on pre-agreed approach with Director of Product.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with merchandising, demand planning, and more to facilitate on-time and on-cost product launches.
  • Lead product process developments, team dynamics, and future planning.
  • Travel frequently, up to 25% of the time.
  • Review and approve seasonal catalog and marketing material for Performance related entries.

Who You Are

  • 5-7 years of related experience (product line management, product merchandising).
  • Bachelor's Degree, Masters preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • People management experience preferred.
  • Robust working knowledge of the global Lifestyle footwear market.
  • Proven experience of critical thinking with regards to line building and product line management.
  • Clear and concise communicator with proven negotiation and influencing skills; easily adapts to needs of different audiences.
  • Forecasting and business planning experience and execution is crucial to success in this role.
  • Experience cultivating consumer insights and driving these insights to create thoughtful product briefs and brand buy-in.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment; drive alignment between product, sales, and marketing.
  • Strong and growing business acumen - continuously evaluates competitors and the marketplace to creatively capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Experience independently developing project plans, with ability to see the big-picture, understand how each product fits into that picture, and communicate an impactful vision.
  • Experience resolving complex problems, with limited direction and guidance.
  • Strong presentation skills are a must. Comfortable presenting product and strategy to small and large audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
