Director IT, PMO & Business Partners (Finance)



As a Director of IT here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading the Program Management Office and IT Business Partner teams for our Advanced Materials business. You will oversee a team of IT professionals responsible to develop IT strategies with the business, collect IT demand and drive the portfolio of technology initiatives aligned with business objectives.

You will report to our Data & Architecture Leader who is responsible for IT services used across all functions including program management, business partnership, Data & Analytics, GenAI, and Architecture. You will work out of our Morris Plains, Charlotte or Houston locations on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the IT organization's alignment and delivery of technology solutions that bring value to the business. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective use of technology to support business operations and drive innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives to support business objectives
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of technology systems to manage the IT Portfolio.
  • Drive IT Portfolio management processes for prioritization including business case development, approval processes and change management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technology needs
  • Drive effective MOS to manage IT projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
  • Drive strategy to build effective teams ensuring talent strategies and succession planning are in place
