Administrative Receptionist (Administrative)
The Administrative Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for guests,staff, and visitors. This position oversees the check-in and check-out process at the administrative reception area, assists with inquiries, and provides accurate information about Taos Ski Valley, including services, operations, and amenities.
This is a full-time position scheduled for 32 hours per week. An ideal candidate is friendly, approachable, and eager to build positive relationships with both internal and external guests. Essential Job Responsibilities:
Greet and assist visitors in person and by phone, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
Manage calls: screen, transfer, and provide information as needed.
Maintain employee and departmental directories.
Assist staff and guests with requests promptly and professionally.
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Administrative Office and HR.
Ensure reception and common areas are safe, clean, and presentable.
Manage office communications, including email, mail distribution, and fax/photocopy tasks.
Support marketing and department updates by reporting missing or incorrect information.
Handle confidential and safety-sensitive information with discretion.
Process payments, sell tickets & passes, and exchange vouchers using Siriusware Point of Sales.
Maintain supply inventories for office, kitchen, and restrooms.
Ensure the professional appearance of the reception area, lobby, and mailroom.
Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience handling payments or point-of-sale systems preferred.

Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during holidays and Peak days. TSVI is in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions.Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff. Physical Demands of Position Include:
May frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Sitting/standing approximately 70% of the time. Walking, reaching, and bending approximately 20% of the time. This position will require individuals to be out in winter conditions 10% of the time.
Background Check:
Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check. Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check.
