Position Summary

Leads team focused on application and solution enhancement and support. Enhances, maintains and supports solutions or improvements to business systems that can be accomplished through technology or alternative uses of existing technology. Serves as a liaison between the technical team, organization leadership, and providers. Oversees technical debt management, currency, KPIs, optimization of people and vendor activity.

Focus Of Opportunity:

This opportunity is to lead a newly formed agile delivery and support team within the IT Corporate Applications portfolio. You will partner with a large variety of business and IT stakeholder, serving as a key leader for initiatives and the resource manager for the IT team.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Experience with leading teams and cross-team collaboration

• Vendor management experience including contract negotiations

• Financial acumen to support budgeting and forecasting

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Application owner experience including influencing toward reduction of technical debt and simplifying the technical landscape

• Project management experience including team building, risk management and managing scope, schedule and cost

• Technical acumen in integration, SaaS systems and/or data modeling

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages overall operations of designated area of authority. Interviews, hires, trains, and directs personnel. Prepares and conducts performance assessments, coordinates discipline and oversees Employee development as required.
  • Identifies and analyzes business needs, requirements, and objectives, making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business systems through technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
  • Continuous Improvement and Compliance: Evaluates technology, processes, and architecture to improve performance, plans for team capacity, provides audit support, compliance management, and monitors KPIs to ensure application health and efficient execution.
  • Vendor and Financial Management: Manages the integration of vendor partner development into solutions, conducts financial health analysis to manage IT budgets, and plans technology investment decisions to optimize application success.
  • Implements policy and strategy for short-term results.
  • Requires influence over others outside of the job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, in computer or information science, business or equivalent and four years' experience in IT or related discipline; or
  • Associate degree in computer or information science, business or equivalent and six years' experience in IT or related discipline; or
  • High School diploma or equivalent and eight years' experience in IT or related discipline.


Additional Experience

  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Designations and/or Licenses

  • Completion of relevant designations or training preferred.
